Della Corte thought this would be the shop and dwelling of the Sabinus that had acclaimed his neighbour M. Epidio Sabino, on the right pilaster of I.4.17:

Sabinus dissignator cum plausu facit (part of CIL IV 768, see I.4.17).

In March 1858, on the pilaster between I.4.19 and 18, on the left, the following painted graffito was found:

Severum

II vir(um) i(ure) d(icundo) o(ro) v(os) f(aciatis)      [CIL IV 1033]
